Prioritize People Over Processes
Remember that people are the driving force behind any project. Focus on building strong relationships with your team members and stakeholders. Foster open communication, mutual trust, and respect. By prioritizing people over rigid processes, you create a more flexible and adaptable environment for success.
Every single organization has their own working norms, and most have their own unique project management process to follow. So no matter what you work, you’ll have to adapt to the way they manage their projects. One thing that’s inevitably identical across all organizations everywhere… the people drive the projects forward. Learn to manage the people, and the projects will be effortless.
Embrace agility (small “a” agile)
Change is inevitable. The ability to adapt and pivot is crucial to project success. Stay open to new ideas, feedback, and learning opportunities. Encourage your team to do the same.
Focus on Outcomes, Not Just Activities
